So here we are. Teetering right on the brink of forty. This is my last Friday as a thirty-something! I've been busy with school (oy, summer reading papers. The kids think THEY are being tortured. They have NO IDEA.) and the housekeeping stuff that gets pushed to the side as school starts (bill paying, laundry doing, oh my!), so lately I haven't been the bloggess I like to be. Ah, well. The weekend has arrived and all is good in the little yellow house.
I have made arrangements to begin another New Thing! I've enrolled myself in a photography class at John A. Logan! I've always wanted to take a photography class--I've been beyond blessed during my life to have visited extraordinary places and to have seen extraordinary things, and I worry that my lack of camera skills means that I've missed out on really lovely pics that I could have done. So here it is. My chance to get better! All for the low, low price of $148.50. Ahem. So not that low. But whatever--if I learn to be better with my camera in time for my next adventure, it's worth it.
Part of me is super-excited to start my class! The other part of me remembers classes on college campuses as terrifying and stressful (papers! projects! GROUP WORK.) and is intimidated by learning from a master who could be disappointed in my abilities. Then the excited part of me knows that there won't be a grade in this class and all is well. :-) So stay tuned! I'll share my homework online and you can help me with advice to impress my prof!
